The Data Enrichment feature enhances your existing data by appending valuable information such as geolocation, demographics, behavioral insights, and third-party attributes. This helps you gain deeper insights, make informed decisions, and deliver more personalized customer experiences.

Our Data Enrichment is powered by Muraena, a trusted partner specializing in transforming incomplete datasets into meaningful, enriched data.

Step 1: Install the Data Enrichment Add-on

  • Navigate to the Add-ons section of the platform.
  • Find and install the Data Enrichment feature.

Upon installation, you will receive 50 free credits. To continue enriching data beyond this, you can purchase additional packages from Muraena.

Step 2: Set Up Data Enrichment Mapping (Optional)

You can control how enriched data updates your existing custom fields using advanced mapping.

To create a new mapping:

  • Go to Settings, scroll down to Data Enrichment Mapping.
  • Click on Create Data Enrichment Mapping.

  • Give your mapping a name.
  • Select which fields should be updated with enriched data (Personal and Company data).
  • Choose to skip updating fields if the new value is empty (optional).
  • Click Submit to save your mapping.

Step 3: Enrich Your Data

There are several ways to apply Data Enrichment on your platform.

Enrich via Form Submission

  • Go to Contacts > Lists.
  • Click Fields & Forms next to your list.
  • Find your email address field and enable Data Enrichment.

  • Select your:
    • Enrichment Target (Personal, Company, or both)
    • Data Source
    • Mapping
  • Click Save Forms.

Batch Enrichment for a List

  • Go to Contacts > Lists.
  • From the dropdown menu next to your list, select Batch Enrichment.
  • Choose your Enrichment Target, Data Source, and Mapping.

Enrich a Single Contact

  • Go to Contacts > All Contacts.
  • Select Data Enrichment from the dropdown next to a contact or directly from the contact profile.
  • Choose your Enrichment Target, Data Source, and Mapping.

From Lead profile:

Use Data Enrichment in Automations

  • Go to Automations > Automation and create a new automation.
  • Choose your desired trigger.
  • From the action list, select Data Enrichment.

  • Configure the action by selecting:
    • Your Data Enrichment Source
    • Enrichment Target (Personal, Company, or both)
    • The Mapping to apply

This is useful, for example, when enriching contacts captured via API.

Step 4: Use and View Enriched Data

View Enriched Data

  • Once enrichment is complete, open the contact’s profile.
  • On the left side, find the Data Enrichment section.
  • Expand the section or use the pop-up view for easier visualization.

Segment Contacts Using Enriched Data

In Automation, you can use Data Enrichment as a condition to segment your contacts based on enriched fields.
